once again fokes.got this set in last week,its a stange one.all tunes in perfect,sound on channals perfect,on screen graghics ok,backlite ok but no picture.i was told firmware update but i dont think it is....help.... :41:

I think it is a software problem needing the service tool (KEL tool in this case), not sure Tosh send them out as is the case with some of the USB upgrades as its a bit more expensive than that, but there would be ways round not having to buy one

The upgrade needs to be done with the tool. As it’s a picture fault with no graphics then an external source wont do in this case  (graphics come after the picture). You could borrow one from another engineer.
