Title: Samsung LE32S67BD inverter problem?
Post by: MMDK on August 21, 2011,12:42:59
Hey all.
My samsung LE32S67BD Went out on me some time ago, and just got around to fix it, the problem was that the backlight started flickering over a period of time and went away, then all of sudden the backlight went out on me.
i can hear the sound and i can barely make out the picture but its there.
I then replaces all the capacitors on the inverter board ( some of them were bulging ), but this operation could not get the backlight back up and running. any one got any ideas what and where the problem could be?
The inverter board is a BN44-00156A.

a pic of the same board.

I did test the voltage going to the 24V adapter, and no power going to the transformer, i think the problem lies before the adapter. Could it be the MOSFET QM801 and QM802 ?
