Title: samsung ps50a457p1dxxu buzzing

This set is buzzing loudly. No effect to picture or sound. I found two caps bad 100uf and 680uf on the x and ysus boards. This seemed to cure it but it's returned.
Any body had this?

Help would be appreciated.

Hi Geoff,

May not be useful, but have a PS50A456P2DXXU screen smash. Set seems to have been stored in the rain for a month, so pretty clean but with mild corrosion on the main board.

Just a thought in case you need bits - Chris.

Thanks Chris. I'll bare that in mind. Might be useful in the future. After talking with a couple of engineers I've been told that the display can be the problem on these.
The fact is these sets are becoming more trouble than they're worth especially as it seems the pdp seems to be the ultimate cause for a lot of the ysus/xsus problems.

Duff PDP panel for a sound buzz - doubtful, but then I'm no plasma expert - Chris

PS - Matter of interest, where does the buzz come from as I had a bad one on a LG Y-sus that I couldn't cure
