Title: LG 50PG3000 Stuck in standby
Post by: gadge64 on September 01, 2011,15:09:50
Hi guys.

I have a 18-month old LG that is stuck in standby.

Is this a common problem? If any of you lads have an idea experience with this I'd really appreciate some advice on how to go about fixing it.

Regards,

Garret.

When you say, stuck in standby, is there no change in the power led when you press the standby button?
If there is, its not stuck in standby its failure to start, I can mail you the service manual if you wish, we can take it from there.

Hi Tony,

Guess you're the Stephen Fry (or even our beloved Robert Robinson) of Quuq

Well impressed, bring back Alvar Liddell (just don't ask)

It has been like that for the last 3 months in neighbours' house... I plugged it in today and it turned on fine!

Thanks for the advice Tony, hopefully I won't have to take you up on your offer.
