Title: Samsung LE40R74BDX

HI,

Have one of these on which freeview is not working only displaying a frozen channel 21.
I am unable to enter the service menu to do a reset.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Isn't it on the board marked "eeprom"?

Take back off and you will find two PCB's under the can
one being digital and the other the main
these are connected Via a multi pin connector this is where your problem lies
Just take out both boards and resolder the pins on pcb (suffers from dry joints)
MAKE sure not to bridge solder on pins
