Title: Bush 37 lcd fault

Got one of these, to save explaining has exact same fault as the one in this link

no sound or any funtions when this happens, switch of and on again it works for a short time, I was thinking tcon but no sound threw me off?

Hi

If the sound goes then it wont be the TCON

try scarting the set out to another set, prob main board faulty

Hi Netdent,

Think set uses MLT070A - Check caps C112/C113 (1000/10) C120(1000/35)
Or MLT198H - no info on this board.

Cheers Chris and Brian, will look at the psu and report back later

The scart idea is cool, I was unaware this was possible! so scart out one tv to scart in on the other

Chris indeed it was the MLT070A psu, 2 of the caps had been changed and soldered badly! so I changed the 3 caps mentioned, tv ran for 10 mins then crashed again, must be the main board, thanks for the input.

Not sure its worth buying a board for as there is some shadows on the backlight, or patches to the right side
