Title: LG 42LG5010 Issue
Post by: ldargavel on October 10, 2011,08:51:09
Hi all,

Was wondering if you could help with this.

Occasionally my TV will display varying problems from a couple of little lines to a completely black half screen, to this. It is always the same side and all I am required to do as a fix is give the screen a little wobble. It only ever occurs upon startup but isn't every time.

I've read it could be a T CON problem?

Any ideas?

Hi Idargavel,

Set top twisting for picture temporary cure usually means a screen fault where the screen top flexies to the panel that is connected to LVDS have become unstuck - Check netdent (today) for a suggestion - Chris
