Title: Technica 32-601 - PFC fault - Mea Culpa
Post by: Turnip on October 21, 2011,12:14:24
Hi folks,

Had one of these in where PFC section of PS had blown (Megmeet MLT668) Found one on Ebay and fitted it. Set initially worked for some seconds then cut to S/by.

Had another go today and realised that the flat flexi from DVD had no markings on the Main board and the Main contacts were dual sided - fitted it the other way around and all OK.

Moral - take initial pic - preferably several - Chris.

PS Many thanks to Quuq 'Poomsag' who also suffers Megmeet 668 problems.

Hi Chris, Is this site running slow or is it just my steam driven computer? The power supply you describe (megmeet mlt668) is the same  as the one used in my matsui for which I'm struggling to access service menu, Any ideas, cheers, Doug.

Hi Doug,

Guess it's all those helpful ads, thankfully none for soldering appurtanence extensions. Main board is L2M20(00) but Technica info is a bit bleak - Tesco spares/help dept. only mentions replacement castors - Chris
