Hello
I have replaced all the 3300uf 10v caps in the power supply,
also now have noticed that FS1 on Z-SUS board keeps blowing 4A
is the IC on the Y-SUS board anything to do with this?
Or what should be done to repair the Z-SUS
any help please

Have you checked for a short on either sustain board?

also
other end were fuse supplies for s/c

Sorry I have not got back to you guys I have decided to replace the ic and fuse on Z sus board.
can anyone tell me the type of this IC also are they both the same ic on both sustain boards.
Is there a link to a service manual

Please check board numbers match before you order, and they are a bit of a pain to change.

forgot to say, you will have to check all caps on the y + z sus pcb, as they could cause the ic to fail again.

Can someone advise me the best way to remove the IPM module on the Zsus board I currently have managed to remove heatsink but cannot get IC off from the board.
unless somone has a cheap board 6870QZH004B / 6871QZH056B is fitted

I have a board from an LG that looks exactly the same as this but the P/N is EBR61021008...came from a smashed screen LG 42 PQ3000 , if someone can confirm it would work then you can gladly have it FOC to try...as long as you pay postage

How have you managed to seperate the heatsink from the ic without removing it?

Hello Ohm Supplies
To remove the heatsink to get a clearer look at the job of removing the IC I drilled a small hole directly under each screw and used a small screwdriver to undo each screw in turn.
As there does not appear to be any circuit tracks at these points
(but wont know until IC removed)
But as a big soldering iron wont remove all the solder any sense even after resoldering and refluxing I suspect special equipment is needed to remove this IC and it would need a replacement board anyway.

Sorry mate my mistake...I just pulled the z sus out and checked part numbers and it wasnt the same PN as in my previous post (EBR61021008)....good news is that it is the same part number you have listed..well nearly
On the board itself it says
6870QZH104B
and on a sticker says
6871QZH053B...not 056B
So I am sure this will fit...Offer still stands if you want me to post..the only problem with the board is that I have had to solder wire to the main connector...which I will remove the best I can before I send
