Hi
Checked the FETS on this TV and have found that QS801 & QS802 have s/c'd, my question.... Is it the Y Sus board that take these FET's out?...I do not want to replace them to find it needs the sus board changing...the sus board FETS have no short and there is no pitting on the IC's.
Any help greatly appreciated
With thanks

The psu can fail on its own.when it does & the ysus is faulty you would be able to measure a short.I'd check BOTH fuses on the y to ve sure & test the buffers with a meter

Cheers Andy....again
The Y sus is fubar'd...should of known really with one of these dam TV's I believe it is the lower buffer that has failed and took it out.
I did replace the 2 s/c fets (The resistors and diodes on the underside were fine) on the psu with some off an old samsung board I had and left the y sus disconnected...no problems, tv powered up.
