Title: lg 50ps3000 ysus

Hi, I have a lg 50" with no picture. When I disconnect ysus board 64v is ok. Question is can I get away with finding just a ysus board or should I also be looking elsewhere? cheers, Doug.

how'd you get on with this one doug? I've got one with dim and sparkles filled picture which I suspect a duff y on  but have been tempted to go with the x y and vid kit

no Andy not yet I'm kinda flyin blind on this one other than occasional psu repairs I dont really do much with Plasmas at all when gamefully employed it was a case of throwing boards at them till they worked which is fine when a manufacturers warrenty is pickin up the bill tend to find customers arent quite so keen on this approach !

Check for a short on the x-sus, there is a fault that can lead you to sometimes think the y is at fault
