Title: 52 years in the trade!!

I've been in this trade for over 52 years and i'm still getting repairs that amaze me. I'll give you a couple of days to guess the function of my latest! (see picture)

Hi Doug,

Guess you're one of those young folks that don't recognise a 'Hill and Dale' depth check instrument we used all the time in the 20's.

Some oldster chum gave clues - hope to win the prize - you didn't say how much, might retire, again  - Chris

According to my local vet, (ever such a nice lady) who brought it it for repair, it is shoved up a rams rectum giving it an electric shock which causes it to ejaculate so that she can test for fertility!!!!! Whatever next?? All claims for prizes must be made in writing.

LOL ...not a million miles away with my proctologists inspection probe then ...??
certainly got the right orifice...even if though I got the wrong species..

....and just to clarify ....
..you haven't 'tested' it since you completed the repair ??....
