this set came in with standby problems.when i turn it on it goes to green for few second then back to red.had one of thease sets last time but had no luck...help lads..

Hi again

lamps in the screen failing are quite common on these sets, you will need to reset the lamp error counter in the service mode to prove it, you may have to overide the protection as well

you need a tube tester had one 2 weeks ago were 2tubes
had burnet out easy to check look at maplins they have a inverter
that can be made into tester costs about £5 will test up to 32"
tubes cheaper than the zippy look back at prevoius listing about tester
