Hi ...
Just read your fault report on this TV ..which I assume is an LCDTV
I have to adMit I'm not familliar with this model ...but its a bit unclear from your message as to the backlight condition ..
Is the backlight lit or not ?
If its not ..and you still have sound I'd assume this to be an invertor issue ..
can you clarify ?

..Further to my first reply ..
Assuming the invertor is at fault ..
It is possible to pick up both master and slave used pcbs from ebay ..for around £30 the pair plus postage on
..Possibly UK only ..but worth a look ..
Also its known that the invertor transformers and definately the opto couplers on these boards are suspects ..and if I have the right model ...then cold checking and replacing any found faulty might well provide a solution.

No, its a software problem. The lamps switch on. its not a invertor problem. The tv start, sound is ok, but not picture and menu. I need a dump of a flash memory. The memory is in socket ot D-SUB board. I check voltage of every board and everything is ok. Thank you for your answers.

..Thanks for clarifying ..
In that case I wouldn't automatically assume its a firmware issue ..
Id go for the LVDS driver pcb ...
Check any surface mount fuses on the board for open circuit ..
If you find one ..check for any dead shorts to ground which could have caused it to blow ..
If non found ..just replace the fuse ..
If a short is found ..check all surface mounted decoupling caps for cracks or discolouration by visual inspection with an eyeglass ..
Again ..if nothing found ...then suspect the chips ...and start hunting for a replacement lvds board on ebay..
hope you get a result

Evan is right. Its not a firmware problem. The problem is in fuse (5v) in T-CON board of the panel. I check every board exept T-CON because the board is behind metal surface. But now seems to be a firmware problem or settings. HDMI option is missing. I connect my satellite receiver in hdmi port and nothing happens. Also check cable( i have 2 ). Any ideas?

Good to know WooooW...
As I said at the beginning of the thread ..I'm not too familliar with the WAX chassis ..
I do know some sets don't show an HDMI connection until something is actually plugged in to the hdmi ..but if you have used the satellite box on this tv before ..then we can dismiss a 'handshake' problem ...but to prove conclusively it isn't ..try another HDMI connected device ..like a bluray player..
I doubt you need to update firmware ..(assuming you haven't tried inputting firmware already)
More likely ..if you still have a problem you most likely need to enter service mode ...and either enable the hdmi inputs ..or perform a reset ..
There are usually 2 forms of reset available ..one you can do easily ..the other may brick your TV ..so make sure you know which one to perform before trying this ..
I'm sure someone more familliar with the WAX chassis will help you with this ..
