Title: Philips 42pfp5532d/05...back to haunt me
Post by: scooby-doo on December 13, 2011,10:02:09
Did a repair on this one a couple of weeks ago for losing the HDMI & Scart connections etc...

The TV loses just "BBC Channels" when you turn off and back on again...This sounds a bit stupid but if I turn the TV off when on ITV then it desnt lose BBC channels...turn on and off when on BBC channels then it loses the BBC's.

When Auto Tunning it doesnt find over 200 channels and dropping them it just finds 132 serivces

Error buffer is clear too.

I have read on the other post in LCD about philips memory...It mentions something about picking up two transmitters may make it fault...if it has anything to do with it the tv is in the middle of sutton coldfield and walton transmitters.
It also is in a flat on a shared aerial

Any ideas appreciated
