Title: hitachi 42pma400e

ok guys has any one got a service manual for 1 of these sets it's a hitachi 42pma400e it's semi dead no led but can just hear psu a little. found disc cap split open changed it still the same any thoughts welcome thanks

its not on tech site, is it uk and recent

yeah it is in the uk quite an old set. i had a look as similar set a few weeks ago  the 2 white ceramic resistors were short circuit and the 2 transistors 2sd2843 were short circuit as well. going to pull caps out. thanks for the interest

 :051bye:common problem on hitachi 5w/100ohm open and two mosfet shorted.

yeah your right but the resistors i pulled out were 5w/10 ohm cheers

Further perusal of the tech web site found it, good luck, but short circuit resistors????
