Title: panel fault??

hi guys i have a samsung 50" plasma the tv switches on and also you can see all the screen light up but its a light grey in colour.

i bought a complete kit and changed all boards apart from bottom buffer as it looks soldered to the panel.

set remains the same with diff y/x control and mainboard still blank grey screen.

i have noticed the fuse to the bottom buffer is blown i replaced it and it blows the bottom fuse again on bottom buffer.

i have a replacment bottom buffer but the panel ribbons are soldered to the bottom buffer so think changing it is not possible.

i have uploaded a pic of the bottom buffer.


do you guys think its a panel fault??
