Hi
have this sharp on the bench sound but no video
Backlight comes on and stays on ,Psu outputs all normal ,have also reseated and cleaned the lvds cable .
T-con is at the bottom of the screen and is part of the screen not a seperate unit, found an SMD 202 resistor that was out so have repalced still no video .
Markings say there should be an F101 but i cant find it ?? or its so small i cant see any markings on the other SMD's tried but cant find a service manual .
Any ideas or has anyone come across this model with the same problem

If you get stuck I have a complete set of boards from a LC-32DH510E Don't know if they are similar or not (smashed screen on my set)
Mind you I can't see a tcon board at all, the LVDS cable goes directly into the top of the panel.

HI LVDS cable goes to the bottom on mine .
Its possible that the main board is not sending the correct voltages to the screen but without a diagram or service manual i cant be certain , i am getting 12v coming down the lvds cable which seems high thought the usual was about 5v but again nothing to refer to for a benchmark .
I will check the numbers on my boards and let you know see if yours are the same

Just a correction, the lvds cable (which is a flat ribbon cable on mine) does indeed go into the bottom (yes the set was lying face down on the floor and I was looking at it upside down)
Mine has a smashed panel. Out of curiosity I've partly stripped the panel, and there are two very thin boards along the bottom, but I can't see how they could be swapped as the panel tabs are bonded directly to each of the boards. More built in "unservicability"
12V down the LVDS is correct, I've just measured that on mine.
F101 is also missing on mine, so I guess it's not supposed to be there.
If the 202 resistor had blown, I guess something else has gone. That seems to feed the 12V power to the rest of the board, so perhaps something has cooked to blow it?
as I say, the panel tabs are bonded directly to this board, so offering my board to you probably won't help, unless you know how to re bond the panel tabs to the board.

Could you change channel, volume, with the remote ?
As far as I remember there should be a 1 sec. Sharp logo in the
startup before the picture and the sound.
You find service manual here
http://www.tv.quuq.org/index.php?ind=downloads&op=section_view&idev=32
and F101

Thanks for the manual will update asap .
ProDave thanks for confirming 12v for me

Ok
Why I ask about the logo is that in the past
I had one that was only showing the logo and then nothing else.
You should also have some data voltage on the lvds cable
from the video processor.

HI please excuse poor spelling on my previous post was in a hurry .
I will check the cable voltages against the manual and report back later after i have scoured the manual to find what i need and take it from there .
Will try to post some pics if i can get some of decent quality

Update
I have scoured the SM but cant find anything about the T-Con but hat may be because it is a part of the screen and not seperate .
Have changed the resistor (202) which has dropped the votage from 12 to 4.8 this then leads into a smd capacitor but is not showing voltage on the other side so now have to try and find out what the V and uf are so i can change that .
I know this is not clear to most without any pics but new sd card for camera should be here today so will post some pics

Hi sabre , I have the very same problem, did you manage to fix it?
