hi guys..had this set in yesterday.when i switch it on it gose back to standby.i checked all the cap an are ok.so i went to the inverter boards.and disconnected both of of them now power supply running sweet.when i connect left inverter it comes on with sound but no picture and when i plug both in it trips back to standby but when i put the right inverter in by its self to fires up with psu running but no sound or picture..strage one lads..any i dears.please.

Usually these inverter pairs are master and slave with a ribbon between, as far as I know both need to be working to control the dim function and ensure even lighting. With both hooked up and the circuit complete the error sensing circuit will be operational and upon trying to fire up the tubes will kick out if theres a fault. Try the usual on these buggers, dry joints on the transformer and HT joints and the transformers going open. Failing that give me the numbers and i'll look see if I have the ones your lookin for cheap cheap... :08:
