Hey.
I just got one om my friends LCD tv's, and i wondered if any of could direct me to the right direction.
It all started with the tv starting and showing picture just fine, and after 15-45 min the left side of the tv would get colored lines, no picture would be showing on the entire left side, then if i unplugged the tv from the wall and just waited a couple of hours, it would work just fine again for about 15-45 min.
I then firmware upgraded the tv. and everything went perfect, the tv flashed and restarted. but when the picture came back, there was a black bar on about 1/4 of the screen, i could see a picture, but it seems that the black bar just is "breaking" the picture up in 2 parts with some pic to the left and the rest to the right. Its just like some one pushed the picture into 2 parts with just black in the middle.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Check this two flat cables from panel

the cables seems fine, tried switching the cables, still got the black stripe, the weird thing is that this black bar happened after the firmware upgrade. anyone got a different idea?
