Title: Hitachi plasma intermittent ghosting
Post by: Cornboats on May 18, 2012,12:51:37
Hitachi plasma 42PD4200

I've got an intermittent picture fault. Full sharp colour picture goes to blur and ghosting for 5 seconds and then back to full colour.

I thought it was LVDS board but swopped and no difference made.

VA & VS voltages spot on.

Any ideas would be welcome.

Many thanks for replying. I check out over the weekend and let you know.

I've a lot to learn- What made you suspect these?

I checked the 15V rail and its only 117.-11.9V. I was told it came from the Y-sus board but not sure where to look.

Any ideas anyone?

I changed z -sus . Got picture and sound and 15v rail. Thought "jobs a good en."

Turned on to find very dark picture highlighted in red.

I'll close this thread and open a new one with new problem.
