Title: Toshiba 42HL196 Wount Power on???Led Blinks??

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum however I recently started messing around with tv's and repairing them.So Far ive had pretty good luck as far as repairs go.Mostly working with Plasma or LCD Tvs.Currently I have a Toshiba 42 inch lcd tv I am looking to repair. 42HL196 is the model number manufactured jan of 07.Wount power on sounds like the power relay clicks on and then clicks off.It's safe to say it's a protection feature as something is wrong with the tv.So i know that popped caps are common on most of these tv's on the power supply board.However I found none of that on this tv.I was gonna order a board but decided to try replacing some Integrated circuit components that toshiba had tsb's for.So I ordered the 3 ic that are common to pop or go bad.So I ordered the following:STRW6765 + STRZ4479 + SRX2039.I hope will resolve the power issue.Just wondering if anyone here has a service manual for this tv I found nothing in the downloads section.Also anyone else have the same issue and what was the culprit?I dont have the parts yet just looking for some help just in case the ic's dont fix this issue.My next step is gonna be a power supply board.Tv led blinks 3 times which means its supposed to be rebooting however the opposite is true.Any info would help or advice wether im on the rgith track or should I be looking at something else??

I received the IC i Ordered today.I soldered them in and the tv works great just as I suspected!!!I replaced the following ic's.

STRW6765 + STRZ4479 + SRX2039

So I replaced those Ic as I mentioned in the above posts.However Now the set just died again.I suspsect the same problem.I pulled the Power supply board out all the capacitors look good.Is it possible the same IC's I replaced have failed again??
