Title: LG 42PC1DV stuck in standby

Hi,
this set is stuck in standby, blue led flshes but set does not turn on. Replaced 9 faulty capacitors in the PSU, but still the same. Suspect it may have corruped the eeprom or some other damage. Customer did leave the set on with the fault for 3 hours to see if would repair itself!!
I notice there are 3 tact switches on the main panel, is one a reset?
Any help much appreciated.

Hello,

Have you checked the vs / va to eliminate the x - y sus as a possible cause? The y in particular would be common to fail.

Hi Andy, thanks for the reply. I don't have VS/VA as the power supply is still in standby. The relays do not click in. I have tried disconnecting the Y & Z boards just in case.

A replacement power supply panel cured the fault. No manual, so could not diagnose further.
