hi guys .this tv has sound and backlight but no picture ,just wondered if anybody else has had same problem ,dont now if it is screen or not?

Hi, whats the power board number (BN number)

I have had problems with one particular board switching the set off at random (such as when a high wattage device like a kettle) was switched  on off teh same power line. It was a problem in the PFC circuit.

Check the t-con for a short or an o/c fuse

hi andy have checked the fuses . one seems to be o/c on the t con board replaced . gets hot and p/supply ticking . guess need new board

is tcon at top or bottom if bottom prob screen , check for
signs of liquid damage

hi sparky . t-con is at the top . have disconnected the 2 cables that go to the screen and it still must have a short on the board because the fuse heats up and p/supply ticks

sounds like tcon faulty try EMOS with the tcon part number

hallo again dave,  tried emos and flat tv parts ,both sold out . ohm supplies had a new one for £65 but a 2 week wait ,customer not prepared to wait . thanks for letting me know about emos will use them again

If you have a psu fault as well then I'd recommend ignoring any advice given, apart from that accidentally posted..
