hi guys .got 2 of these tvs with same fault so cant swop boards . symptoms are the same  as 40 inch samsung if you go into picture menu on the samsung then mode and go to cinema you get a weird picture that they used to show you on movies when kids were on drugs in the sixties  looks like loose cables to t con on other tvs. any clues ,thanks

Hi

Is the fault present on the internal tuner and all the external inputs ( scart and HDMI). What is the scart out signal like?

hi keith ,you can even see the fault on the menu icons . it has a built in dvd and the fault is still there when playing a dvd. when you have the menu  on it looks like the purity is out on an old crt tv .    connected external dvd via scart lead and fault still there
