Hi folks,
Just had a Sanyo CE19LD90V-B in where the blue s/by would go out but set wouldn't fire up. Noticed C171 (12p 3kv) across inverter trannie secondary was discoloured and measured 200k. Changed it but no go. Checked transformer secondary resistance - 711 Ohms. Fitted another trannie from scrap with a resistance of 713 Ohms and the set fired up OK.
Tranny part number - 30052713-01 LSE 0909 H - anyone know of a supply ?
Incidentally compared the 2 trannie version - trannies are larger - 30058444 SMP-C2146. My scrap one has secondary resistances of 718 and 750 Ohms, which might explain why it's duff - Chris.

Hi Daz, and thanks.
Note they're expensive also they haven't got any at present. Out of curiosity, and for Quuq folks, what's secondary resistance of your new ChasHyde 30058444's.
Still think with testing trannies to buy a LCD scope and ring, or perhaps knock up a suitable driver and check input current.
Thanks again - Chris.

Hi Chris
The new one is 756 ohms, yes a bit expencive, I have used spared parts in the past but can not remember if they do a trade discount, it might be worth an ask

Thanks Sparky and Daz,
Was really only after 30052713-01.
Thought if Quuq mentioned it - China might supply some for a groat - well, things there are reportedly tough as there is only 3 x the annual growth of the UK.
No political observations as we are still free to use the Interweb and vote - Chris.
