please can someone give me an idea on how to fix my lg 50ps3000.
it turns on and you get audio but the screen stays blank. ihave replaced the y sus board but no difference still screen is dead.

I dont have the answer mate, but do you hear clicks on/off on/off from the relays? Im just having simular problems with the LG 50PQ6000 possibly simular boards??

Try taking out the upper buffer board....... This should light up the lower section.
If this does not work replace & take out the lower buffer.
This should light up the top section of the screen.
***Remember the board has to be removed so as no contacts can be made.***

Why do you suspect the y-sus so early in your diagnosis, is the psu supplying vs and va supplies, or have you been watching youtube videos?
-
Check q13 14 and 15 on Z sus for s/c theres a kit available from ohmsupplies if they are short.
-
Just had one in with same fault, this time it was t-con which is quite common on these.
-
Failing that check your y-buffers.

In answer to TV TONY......... Because i've had 3 in with the same fault... UPPER BUFFER BOARD. :c017:

I thought Tony the TV was the LG expert? The PG would be more buffers, the PS more x-sus, I've had a look on a forum I get access to & they both seem common sets, I think its the same Tony gets his info from. :93:
