Title: UMC 216/17B-GB-TC-F-UK No picture
Post by: roxbylad on November 29, 2012,07:30:06
Hi Folks,

My first posting so be gentle with me!

I am a retired engineer but a complete hammer chewer when it comes to electronics.

Was watching my UMC which is nearly 4 years old (Tesco) and has been just fine until picture suddenly disappeared (no drama, no noise, no smoke).  Everything else seems to be working.

I am sure this will be just one little component and, as a poor old state pensioner, wondered if there is a likely or known fault and the cheapest way to fix.

I have opened up the back but can't see anything obvious, nothing burnt or twisted.

Can you help please?
