Title: 32lg6000 error code
Post by: bluesmoke on December 06, 2012,09:04:27
hi i am having trouble with a 32lg600-za
i bought the set dead and when i opened it the main psu was physically damaged (cracked)
the tv is mine so i wasnt in a rush to fix untill some boards came along at the right price eventually i got some and fitted the psu first and was still no life ie standby  then i fitted the mainboard and i now have 5v standby led but no 12v and no backlight etc just the led ring flashing which seems like a code anyone cast any light on this ?
the guy i bought the boards from assures me that the tv was working but smashed hence why he pulled them
so i have replaced the main psu ,sub psu ,mainboard

The man who you bought them from, does he have some magic beans to sell you too?  :s_laugh: :s_laugh:  if the PSU was only faulty then wouldn't the next PSU that was working fix it?

Sorry, I was just trying to have a joke. I mean if the PSU was broke & the main board is faulty how can you trust the rest of the set as it could have at least 1 or more faulty boards in. My pal does it in auction sites to move the gear along. Fixes the sets he can then loads a set with duff boards. Think its called buyer-b-ware

i know what you are saying its just today maybe isnt the best day for me to joke with this tv it has got personal .the trouble is it isnt a comon tv but it is a nice looking tv hence why i want to keep it for my little lads room but i am beginning to think the same .i originally thought i had repaired the cracked psu by bridging the tracks and i had 5v on it then but no standby but i still didnt trust it thats why i bought the mainboard and psu's.i have tried unplugging the tcon and the fault is the same ,but it looks like the led is flashing a code
