Title: Bush IC number for LED inverter
Post by: Davy on December 12, 2012,09:08:32
Bush CTVL15W15HDVDF

Been connected incorrectly... too much voltage I'm told. Only apparent damage is smoked LED inverter board with ID markings HQ-LED154-02 Rev1.0.

This is used in a caravan so I *suspect* a reverse polarity connection

Just a tiny board with a handful of parts.... I can see one cap has 'popped it's clogs' and the IC's been puffing away at an Havana cigar and left a trail.

Looking for a source for this board or U1 the IC number which  is unreadable..... gotta start somewhere, the rest looks and checks intact, looks like the micro is calling the shots here!

Wow jordan you're an icon, brilliant thanks.

Well, I've drawn the circuit and was about to scour the data sheets but decided to check for any updates here first.

Funny it took the chip, blew the decoupling cap. C1, 100u 25V on the 12V but didn't take the K fuse (1.5A).

Thank you jordan, we'll try the chip and see how it goes from here.

Best regards, Dave
