Title: Renault immobiliser bypassing code
Post by: Tmg on January 17, 2008,18:25:53
My Megane scenic would not start due to no central locking working int SO the immobliser cut in, so here can be found a usefull program to obtain your personel code to start the car and get you home.

A good post and a useful tool.  A little more advise, if you enter the code as trantir++ it unlocks some aditional menu's.

If your car only starts for 2 seconds it means you have not switched off the imobiliser and the dashboard light will be flashing.

When you unlock the car via the remote infra red key, the car imobiliser should switch off also, this will be indicated by the led on the dashboard the led will go out and no longer flash.
start the car quickly, If you do not start the car within 10-15 seconds the led will start to flash andthe imobiliser will come back on. so lock and unlock the car again whilst sat inside the imobiliser should now be off again.

Inside the key there will be a label with 2 rows of numbers printed on the white label please try both i think it was the bottom row

the 4 digit code may be printed on a card in your owners handbook pack.
or most garages may be able to turn off the immobiliser in the diagnostic software.

The number of the key is printed on a piece of card and placed inside the key.  Almost always it falls out and cannot be found.  Also sometimes it is printed on the plastic case.  It will never be written in the service book or owners hand book.

Remember this calc only works 100% for cars up to 1997 and may do cars up to 2000.  After 2000 the pin code uses letters and numbers so Trantir will not work, also you need diagnostic tools to enter the pin code.

If you open the ECU and read the Fairchild 24c02 and post the dump I will make it immo off for you.  You must use hot air to desolder the 24c02 as it is glued to the board.  Then you can program my modified dump in to a new 24c02 and lift pin 7(WP) and pull high ( you can connect to pin 8 - vcc).  This is because pin 7 on the original fairchild I2C is pulled low internally so you cannot write protect it and if you do not write protect it then it will upload the original dump from the processor.  When you have done this you must cut 3 wires from the ECU.

Send me the dump and Bosch ECU number 0 281 *** *** also how many plugs the ECU has.

No garage can turn the immobiliser off with diagnostic software - it just is not possible, can only be done by I2C in the ECU.

...Or post me the ECU and I will do it for you.

If you prefer the immobiliser emulator from ebay that Tmg suggests then I can supply it for £65 inc carriage and no VAT to pay.

Sorry, that is the later ECU ( ithought it was the early one).  The decice in this is 95p08.  it is marked 5P08C3 and is ST.

Seeprog is the best tool to read this with (around £50stg) from crownhill associates - or I have a schematic.  Sometimes it will read as 95080 on programmers which do not support 95p08 but it is not 100% reliable.

If you cannot find the 95p08 ask and I will mark it on the photos you uploaded.

but car must be fix fast
Ok  what way i can buy of you immo emmulator and you provide some instruction for fiting.

Thanking you

If you wish to buy a programmer then seeprog (http://www.elnec.com/products/device-programmers/seeprog/) is the best, but you cannot buy it from Crownhill (http://www.crownhill.co.uk/) any more and I do not know where to buy it.

If you wish to build Seeprog yourself then I can send you the schematic and.brd file so you can etch your own PCB.

Or you can send me the ECU and I will read and program the 95p08 for you.

Or if you wish to fit an emulator then you must remove and open the UCH.  Inside is a 93c56 (I think, or it might be a 93c56).  Read this and send me the dump and I will program you an emulator from your dump and send you fitting instructions.  Otherwise you must post me the UCH and I can fit an emulator inside for you.

What is UCH?
Can i just post to you chip i resolder out and send it to you

Title: Re: Renault immobiliser bypassing code
Post by: delambo on February 22, 2008,17:36:13
The UCH is the body control mudule.  It is inside the fuse box.

It is up to you.  You can desolder the 95p08 and post it to me, I can modify it and send it back, but I do not get a 100% working dump every time.  If you do this you may need to post it back and forward a few times before it works.  If you can program it by yourself then I can send you dumps and you can test them quickly rather than wait for the postman.

If you want you can send me the 93cXX from the UCH and I can read it and program you an emulator.

It is up to you.

and i can read myself i have programmer for it

It is really important to remember you must use hot air to desolder the 95p08.  It is glued to the board and you must soften the glue.  I tried to desolder one using traditional methods and pulled 2 legs off the the 95p08, I also damaged the PCB.  95p08 are hard to find if you do damage it, but you can get them from Mark 5 (http://www.mark5.co.uk).

Good luck.

Your file should be 1024 bytes but there is one line of data too much.  I deleted this line of data and made immo off for you but you must check 100% that you read the chip correctly BEFORE you use my dump or else the original dump will be lost for ever.

Check your PM for rar pass.  I password protected it for security from car theifs and people wanting to sell the dump on ebay!  AQny good members who want the password just ask me.

I found in internet

may be i need buy that

After decoding of Renault injection computer using our RENAULT RESET TOOL or by entering security code, in most cases you
can start engine, but some of injection computers can not operate without immobiliser code stored in their memory. Diesel
EDC15C3, DCU3R and MSA15, petrol SIRIUS32 (except these for 1.4L engine) and FENIX5 for 2.0L 16V engine require working
unlocked (with good key) immobiliser unit or our Renault immobiliser emulator. Include connection manual.

Probably you can supply me with it
i can buy of you

if it`s help me
Title: Re: Renault immobiliser bypassing code

I suspect it will not help you.  It sounds like you have a problem other than immobiliser.  The emulator you mention is not as good as the emulator I supply.  The emulator on the cmd site will only work on a new or virginised ECU.  The emulator I supply will work on any ECU but must be coded to the ECU...

...but no emulator will work on your ECU as they are all K-line based where as your ECU is CAN based.  I think that nobody makes a CAN emulator yet.

The dump I sent you should work, and if the immo light is not flashing then I think it has worked.  I think maybe the ECU is faulty.  If it since the battery was charged then you must check your voltage regulators, transistors and drivers.
