Hi Guys,
Hope someone can help me on this.
I have this TV which when plugged in turns on for about 3 seconds then immediately switches off leaving the red light flashing 4 times, pauses and then repeats this process.
anyone have an idea on how to diagnose the fault on this unit?
As always, any help would be much appreciated

Thanks Jordan,
I have replaced the whole inverter but still the same.

I suggest you replace both inverters one set on the left and one on the right. I presume you have looked underneath the inverters as there are components underneath!
-
Check the bridge rectifiers reservoir caps.
-
Just to check.
the inverter is in 2 parts and only down the left hand side, the components mentioned aren't on it & the bridge rectifier and reservoir cap is still in the PSU?
-
My mistake i was thinking of the 46S2030 which has the inverters both sides!
-
Yes 450v caps in psu.
-
So you think the bridge might be short then? No problem, looks like the set is fixed, he's not replied anyway :stupid:
-
thats what happens no result posted i try when i find the cure :051bye:

See, I'm different. If someone asks a question I reply, especially on a free forum, who gets paid for this help then? Or is it just free?
