Sparky u ever tried soldering onto a ribbon? I was kinda leaning towards sitting the jump cable next to its connection point, a wee spot of superglue to hold it in place and using conductive paint to create a wee track to make the joint what do you think?

if you make sure you can tin it you can solder it
better than super glue

lol sorry if i was unclear. I know itd be pretty tricky to get a conductive joint with glue! the idea was for the glue to hold the wire physically in place whilst making the connection using silver conductive paint
