Title: LG 42PC1D-EC Plasma TV wont switch on

Hi, I have a fault with a LG 42PC1D-EC Plasma TV.
The TV won’t switch on. At switch on the front Led display will change from red to flashing blue then returns to red and there is a click sound when the led turns from red to blue.
I have replaced all bulging capacitors 9 3300uf and 2 680uf. But the problem is still the same.
I work in electronics so and a PSU circuit would be helpful, the PSU p/n is 68719PT299.
But any body experienced this fault.

Have you tried the fuse in the ysus board?

Check R510 [10ohm] for open circuit on power supply board. Can also be caused by a faulty U501 [STRW6251].

Hi Marky mark and downunder.
                                           Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately they were not the problem. The fuses on the ysus board are OK, and the R510 on the PAU reads 10R0 as per the colour code. I did down load a free service manual, but for some reason it does not include the PSU circuit. Do you know where I can get a PSU circuit diagram? So that I can check the PSU on my bench.
