Title: Samsung LE32M87BD help needed with diagnosis
Post by: rubbishrat on April 02, 2013,18:51:01
Could anyone please help with diagnosing this startup problem with this Samsung LE32M87BD,  I bought it with a stuck in standby problem. This was caused by CM856 - 820uf 25V  being high esr. replacing this cap revealed another problem, see movie ( if I've uploaded it ok )
http://youtu.be/RsKdmOIc6UI  You can see that it clears up when I switch back on.
I thought it looks like LVDS but switching off and straight on again always clears the fault, the horizontal lines that can be seen clear up after a few minutes, maybe heat related but I can't find anything with a can of freezer. At a bit of a loss to be honest, any suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Pete
