Can you help please..never had this fault before..5 inch green virtical line down screen..just in from left hand side...thanx Chris..

When you take back off you'll probably find the bar is inline with one of the ribbons from the screen. It'll be the IC on the ribbon. Try heating it up see if the bar goes away.
