Title: Sanyo CE-32LD17-B - Vestel - No sound
Post by: Turnip on April 21, 2013,14:13:57
Hi folks,

Have been caught out by a couple (should learn) where pic was OK, but with no sound at all, whilst OSG showed normal variations.

Back at the ranch sound was perfect.

Pull the plug and count to ten probably does the biz, most times  - Chris

Usually a harness fault.

If the IC on the main PCB is a BGA type (17MB26 panel) check the plug top left on the main pcb, just touch it and you'll hear the sound return. 3.3V or 5V feed goes slightly low due to poor crimp or tarnished pins.

Took me ages to find, would only happen a couple of times a week on the one I had in.
