Hello Guys!
I'm new here, but have been repairing televisions (and other electronics) for 8 years now.
My problem is with an LG MZ-42PZ44 plasma tv (about 4 years old). The picture is there, but it's flashing, like a stroboscope light. I have another tv, and I swapped circuitboards, which localised the fault to the PCB with the scaler IC (see the two last pictures for the board). I have checked the electrolytics on this board, and tried to press down the BGA with the set turned on, but this didn't do anything.
Is this a known fault for this chassis (RF-03FA), and if so, what needs to be changed?
