Tv working great but no sound from speakers. Headphone socket works fine thanks.
-
Have you tried buying a bigger set of headphones and turning the sound up to full?
-
Hi,
If you use headphones a lot, possibly the headphone socket is u/s causing the problem.
If not, you could try a factory reset - chassis is probably a Vestel, look to see
how to reset TV from other posts, failing that, probably sound output stage u/s.
regards.

Also check the loudspeakers have not gone open circuit. If this is a Vestel it is not unknown for this to happen if the customer is hard of hearing and driving the loudspeakers hard, one goes o/c they then turn it up higher then the other one pops.
They can run rather warm at high volume.

Have an Alba with the same model number and it has intermittent sound, sound via headphone socket is ok. Figure it's probably audio output amp faulty. :dubbio:

Hi,
There's a common problem for intermittent sound, on certain Vestel chassis's.
if this set has one of these: VESTEL 17MB60, MB61, or MB62
and it uses a TPA3110D2 sound output I.C.
change: C1075, C1076, C1077, C1078
from 470nf to 1uf 6.3v
