:sign0085: hi there, iv owned my goodmans ld2667d for just over 3 years now, but lastweek it developed a problem with it after its been on for a little while the image will skip and ghost then after a few mins pixel out and then final whole screen goes white, if you leave it in this state it corrects itself then starts its cycle again, iv had it apart and i cant see any burnt out caps or broken/burnt wires nor could i see any visabley dry joints. can anyone shed any light for me as it does not change when you swap from hdmi to freeview or if you go to scart.

Look for a small square 48pin IC marked AS15F, G or U on the T-Con board at the very top or bottom of the panel. It commonly causes a bright washed-out picture. You may be able to confirm it by keeping it cool with periodic blasts of freeze spray. Not easy to replace for the inexperienced but a replacement T-Con board is another way out.
