Got one too.
Here's my post http://www.tv.quuq.org/forum/index.php?topic=8199.0

Mines no standby light Power ON pulse OK on main board but not reaching PSU, I tried removing the tac switch unit in case they were faulty, 5V OK.

I'm gonna try to force the power supply on and see what happens, then I'll do same with the inverter just to exclude them from the equation.

I thought a faulty eeprom would gave an error code.

Edited underlined - sorry.

FYI: Main power board SRV2169

Connector P811A pin 2 is 5V
Connector P810A pin 9 is 3V This is the smaller connector.  The 3V supply is derived from the 5V standby supply and comes from some SMD transistors on the underside.

All the connectors can be plugged or unplugged, except the mains obviously.

With NO mains power you can actually power the 5V from an external source by connecting 5V+ to it's rectifier cathode and the negative down to metal chassis, the 3 Volts will also be measured.

Might be useful, might be not.

Corrupt bootloader data in IC150, if my memory is correct, will cause a dead set, reprogram IC if you have a dump or replace the main board, there are different screen versions!

Hi, had one with that prob,

As Keith suggested, The Eeprom was the biz in my case. Trouble is, there are two on the main board, and I replaced the wrong one as had no info, but was enthusiastic.

Later got the correct screen version board from Fleabay.

Hope I'm learning - Thanks Keith - Chris.
