This set has a flashing front blue LED. Googling it shows a few problems but the only reset would appear to be for older sets. This one has a touch front panel. Its not the PSU as I changed it.
Although nobody replied I'll post repair. Contacted JVC who said this was a Comet set and not supported by JVC..great. CHS has main board but helpful rep advised against ordering it as Tcon board was sometimes at fault as well. Luckily another set came in and swapping the main board solved the problem
