Title: Toshiba 32AV554D audio ok but no video

This set has program sound but no picture info gets through. It's the same with all AV inputs. Menus and station id show without a problem. Searched the web and found others with same problem but no solution other than changing the main signal board (PE0630 V28A000822A1). Also unable to find a replacement board.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Hi,
Probably a software update would solve this problem, but
unfortunately it requires a special 'kel tool' interface to connect
a usb stick containing the update.

Enter service mode (set volume level to minimum,press MUTE button on RC once then press and hold MUTE button once again and meanwhile press the MENU button on front panel) and press button 9 on RC to enter SELF-CHECK mode.Press and hold CALL ("i")button on RC while pressing P+ button on front panel.Initializing should apper on screen.

Many thanks Jordan, we're up and running.

I knew about the service mode and the self check but not the rest of it. I guess it would be in the service manual of which I downloaded from Toshiba but was unable to view as I can't get the Zeus engine to work.

Been it this business 40 years and there's always something new to learn.

Anyway thanks again and I now know why you're a Hero Member.
