Title: Philips 47PFH6109/88 Dynamic Backlight Dimming problem
Post by: hpastar on June 03, 2014,06:16:44
I have this TV Philips 47PFH6109/88 for 10 days and I didn+t used to this Dynamic Backlight Dimming.

On some bright scenes it really goes to bright automatically, and then in lowers the backlight. Someone posted that I use option Computer as input and really this doesnt happen when I use this option but lots of other advanced options are disabled.

I can enter SAM on my TV, and there are Options that can be changed. On some other forums I saw for older TVs, like from 2008, that they change Option 2, and just substract the value of 16 from default value. My OPtion 2 is of value 20, but there are not the same TV sets and boards so I am afraid to brick my TV.
Does anyone know my default Option 2 codes I can enter do disable Dynamic Background Light.

Thank you

Hi,what about the user's menu?isn't it possible to change that option in that menu? not sure but I guess might

 be something related to it.

Thank you for your reply, but no this cannot be disabled or turned off in user menu, only in Service Menu, but wit some bits and bytes calculation but need the table of options, as in Service Menu (SAM) there are Options 1 to Option 10
