Title: Toshiba 40bl702b

Hi, new to this site,  just changed the main board in this set17MB65S-3  011111, original board had sound problem, new board gives perfect s&v but pix upside down, tried Menu 7525, anyone have any suggestions ? thanks

Hi Jordan, many thanks for replying to my post, slip of the brain with 7525, I meant 4725, been through all the options but can't find anything relevant to this problem,grateful for any further thoughts, thanks, Peter

Hi Peter,

Guess you've got the wrong board, Vestel have so many options with their 'Brand Name' cheapies.

17MB-XXXX is just basic identity, and means almost nothing.

Serial numbers are really important, as there are dozens of versions, and mostly quite different - Chris.

Thanks Chris, guess you are right, I suppose i could always put the cabinet on the other way up !! Hmm. original panel only had no sound, no thoughts on that I suppose? thanks, Peter.

Hi Peter,

Recall a while ago, some other chap had the same inversion problem, but never a mention of the sound, so we suggested re-fitting the stand, much as you do.

Never heard back - Guess sorted - Chris.

Hi,
The original sound problem you had, Toshiba have  sent out
a USB stick with update software to customers that 
complained of this fault, might be worth a try.
