Hi guys . Have got this tv . It has a negative picture. Looks like the picture you get on a Samsung 40 inch when you put it in cinema or movie mode . Physcodelic from the 60s movies, excuse spelling . Don't know if t-con or screen or av board . Any ideas , thanks

Take a look at the T-Con....component side. If you find an AS15F, AS15G or AS15U IC on it, I'd expect that will be the problem. It's a small 48 pin IC so if smd soldering is not your bag, a replacement T-Con is an option.

Hi Kennyc,
You don't mention panel info, but had the same problem with a Cello/Neon C3298DVB (Main CV109H) where a factory reset did the biz - Chris.

Hi chris . It does have the cv109 board in it but did a factory reset pushing input then 2580 but still the same .Instead of coming on with a blue screen and saying baird it comes on with a yellow screen and it is very bright. As i say you can see the picture but it looks physcodelic like they used to show in the 60s if someone was on drugs is the only way i can describe it

And the chip on the T-Con is ????.
-
Hi down under ,will take it all apart later and get the number .

Hi kennyc,
Guess 'Downunder' might be right. Checked and have Eeprom data for the 32 inch version, but as yours is probably 40 inch from the model number - Not so useful perhaps.
Glad to hear updates - Chris.
