Title: Toshiba 19AV505D - flicks channel to channel.

Hi Folks,

Had one in today where cust said it flicked from channel to channel.

First few hours were OK, then did what cust said but flicked from Gay Rabbit to Gay Rabbit, then on to Adult programmes - mention, as I'm currently checking.

Went on to sport, of some kind - Not so sporting myself, then on to most anything, could be Emmerdale.

Later cut to S/by with guess no signals - possibly taste.

Not met one before, guess not Toshiba nor Vestel.

Hi Jordan and many thanks,

Thought replace main board but they're hen's teeth. Odd that it works fine when cold, so suspect maybe a chip soldering connection problem, or maybe the tuner itself, as it cuts to S/by when signal fails. Think try an ext. input but don't know if it will prove much - Didn't - Ext inputs well OK.

Suspect it's one of those old models that requires a considerable signal to function for some reason.

PS - Had another one in today from a Chinese take-away - Cust said no go, and also brought the aerial lead where the metal plugs had pulled off - both ends - Simples.
