Hi, I'm in need of some help with my Toshiba 42X3030D.
It has worked perfectly for the past 7 years without a hiccup.
Recently, it's been turning on fine and then after about 45 minutes, or so, it goes to a black screen...with audio still on.
I've replaced the main power board (new) and the master and slave inverter boards (second hand from a working tv), but still have the same problem.
Can anybody please help with pointers as to where I go from here?
Many Thanks,
Ray...

Not much left to change really!!
Are the back lights going off?
Try shining a light on the back of the lcd to check if you a picture, not easy and best in a dark room. If you can see a picture the back lights will probably be faulty. You could over ride the protection circuits on the inverter to see if it stays on.
If the lights are staying on check to see if you have video coming out of the scart socket by connecting to another TV. If you have video the main board is probably OK and the Timing control board is faulty. But it could also be a faulty screen.

Thanks, Keith!
I will do as you suggest...
Hopefully it won't be need a new screen - it would probably be easier replacing the tv!
Cheers!
