Title: PS - AYP418101 - Neon and Cello
Post by: Turnip on December 20, 2014,11:43:37
Hi folks,

Although most Neon and Cello problems are corrupted Eeproms, have had a few where the PS was a bit suspect.

Had one in today in a C3298DVB where the 24v dual shottky was S/C on one side - Thought a doddle, so replaced it and the 24v output was about 8v, with or without the inverter plug connected. Noticed a smell where a SM power transistor on the underside was getting hot enough to melt isolation plastic.

Wonder if anyone is clued on it, as seems a decent enough PS where caps don't yet seem to bulge  ?

Have a shematic from an RCA set - Attached, but no component list - Chris.

Hi folks,

Managed to get a working board so could check voltages and note the links not shown on the schematic. Also discovered from a Russian site that IC2 and IC3 are LD7535 - Chris.

Note missed a bit RHS.

Please, does anybody knows the value of the resistors R91 and R 92 which are used to create the 12V / 5 Amp.  :sign0085:

look at the image plate from the rear side of
R-91 = 101 = 100R
R-92 = 101 = 100R
