Hi and Happy new year
This tv intermittently comes up with vertical lines which will changing by pressing any buttons.when comes up with lines, there isn't nothing on screen except lines but when comes up as normal still there are shadows or lines in left said or screen.screen is faulty or t-con board???? Any idea?

I personally would suspect the screen, no harm in trying a T-con board though and checking it's connections.

Try gently pressing along the top and bottom edges TV front, sounds like the connection from the T-con cable to the screen, this trick might work with the screen in situ got a feeling it might, in some cases you may have to remove the screen or front plastic to get at the connections.

Should this cure the problem then the only thing is to apply a foam strip behind the T-con cable on the edges of the screen to push against the connections.... or it's a replacement screen job.

Yep, or someone has been overzealous with the Windex.            Bruce
